The BBC explains that the “adaptability quotient” is “a subjective set of qualities loosely defined as the ability to pivot and flourish in an environment of fast and frequent change.”
The organization Peak Learning, meanwhile, uses the same acronym to refer to “adversity quotient,” a method “for measuring and strengthening human resilience.” The group is led by best-selling author Paul Stoltz, who also directs the Global Resilience and GRIT Institutes.
