The energy industry’s first quarter of 2020 has been marked by rock bottom oil
prices, and challenges imposed by the COVID19 outbreak including travel
restrictions, concerns over worker infections, and work-family interface
challenges that come with closed schools.
Pink Petro is collaborating with an international research team consisting of researchers from the University of Houston and Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen, UK) in conducting a study on the workplace experiences of energy workers during the 2020 COVID19 outbreak.
Specifically, the study aims to:
- Determine how COVID19 and low energy prices are affecting women in the energy industry.
- Identify best practices for mitigating the COVID19 impact on energy workers’ health,
well-being and productivity. - Provide energy companies with data-driven recommendations to guide effective
energy workforce policies during the COVID19 outbreak. - Determine short and long-term solutions to workforce issues facing the energy industry
Thus, we would like to ask you for your help in filling out this survey. Will you share your expertise with our team and provide critical information on your work experiences in the energy industry, and your outlook on the future?
