GRIT Awards Information Session

Welcome to the informational session about the GRIT Awards! Our mission is to recognize and appreciate the individuals, organizations, and students who are making a positive impact on energy, sustainability, and climate. We believe that the energy industry's brightest and grittiest talent deserves recognition for their contributions to their companies, the energy industry, and their communities.

Our awards program recognizes individuals, students, for-profit and non-profit organizations that have demonstrated exceptional growth, resilience, innovation, and talent, with a focus on driving a just, equitable, diverse, and inclusive culture, which we refer to as JEDI. We believe that recognizing and appreciating such talent is essential to driving the energy industry forward.

The Best Energy Workplaces℠ recognition is given to outstanding employers in the energy and climate technology sector. This recognition is a testament to the efforts made by these organizations towards a sustainable future and a just, equitable, diverse, and inclusive culture.

To qualify for nomination, the individual or organization must be associated with energy, climate, and/or sustainability. They can be in a corporate role, an entrepreneur, a student, or someone who is unemployed but has shown exceptional GRIT by displaying growth, resilience, innovation, inclusion, and talent. We believe that recognizing and appreciating such individuals will encourage others to follow in their footsteps and contribute towards a sustainable future.
