Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:

Ensures effective employee relations. Provides employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution. Balances safety, quality, productivity, cost, and to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously improve all areas. Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to management. Performs accident investigations. Maintains proper inventory levels. Manages department priorities. Tracks absenteeism and time keeping for all production staff Oversees onboarding and onboarding for Production Associates Special projects as assigned

Qualifications / Skills:

A minimum of five to seven years in a production supervision role. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must possess a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others. Must possess an ability to think ahead and plan over a 30-day time span and prepare action plans to achieve results. Experience supervising a production staff and experience in hiring and retention, performance review and discipline. Experience with employee training and development. Measurement of performance to goals and standards. An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations. Systems and continuous improvement orientation. Quality orientation and attention to detail. Problem analysis and resolution. Inventory management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong team player
