ALLY Energy announced its acquisition of Clean Energy Social. How will this impact current customers and what are you plans for expansion?
On June 28, 2021, ALLY Energy closed on the acquisition of Clean Energy Social. We're delighted to have Clean Energy Social customers a part of ALLY Energy. Over the next 6-8 weeks we'll be working to integrate the ALLY Energy and Clean Energy Social sites and offerings.
Why the acquisition and why now?
ALLY is the largest platform for jobs globally for the energy transition. With this acquisition, the candidate and company pools have doubled and unified all areas of energy together under one platform. This allows more opportunities to match companies with great candidates and candidates with companies looking to fill the talent.
What changes will customers see in pricing?
- Current agreements for CES customers and ALLY Energy will be honored until your agreement or subscription expires.
- New website subscription pricing for all services will go into effect on October 1, 2021 on the website.
- New customer (or previous customer) annual enterprise agreements with new pricing will be effective January 1, 2022.
How is ALLY different than any other job site?
- We've been in the business of diversity, inclusion, and ESG. ALLY, formerly known as Pink Petro was the only digital platform of its kind focused on oil and gas, utilities, and services.
- Very quickly companies and candidates in renewables joined our platform - 40% year over year and in 2019, 100% growth. We saw the need to expand our community and rebrand.

During the pandemic, we took the opportunity to launch ALLY. We believe it is going to take all forms of energy and all talent to meet the growing demand for sustainable energy. This transition will take time, however, the workforce and companies need a place to accelerate hiring and skills transition.
